Terms and conditions
By booking and by confirming a booking, both parties agree to the following terms and conditions:

(customer) and was confirmed by the Hotel La Casa GmbH (hotel) a
booking contract is formed after the booking is reconfirmed by the
customer (this might require a deposit or payment agreement through
an accepted payment method).
Any additions or modifications (customer business conditions etc.) need to be expressly agreed to in written form and approved by La Casa GmbH.
The parties in this contract are the hotel and the customer. If a third party placed the order for the guest, then this party is also liable to the hotel together with the customer as joint debtor for all obligations of the accommodation.

The rented accommodation is only available to the preregistered number of persons. Any additional occupancy (including temporary, short-term and unexpected) needs to be registered at the reception before or at arrival. Any subletting or overcrowding is prohibited and may result to the premature termination without advance notice. The customer will be billed for the additional occupancy and any additional damages.
This contract is binding for both parties once the booking confirmation is received. It can be terminated at any time by written statement. Termination fees may apply (see below):
Cancellation policy for single rooms and group bookings of three rooms or less within the Daily rate:
Can be canceled free of charge as late as 48 hours before the arrival day (0.00 h). Then it is charged 90% of the total room price for the stay, if the room is canceled later or if the guest does not arrive 100%.
Your room will stay reserved for you after 6 pm until midnight (10pm on Sundays) if the booking has been reconfirmed by the guest in writing and was accompanied by valid credit card information. Please note that the hotel closes at midnight (10pm on Sundays) and check in / arrival is not possible after this time.
Cancellation policy for early booker rate and trade fair rate:
Upon receipt of a binding booking (online booking, written booking reconfirmation, or a binding booking via phone, in each case with a credit card put on file and accompanying authorization), the early booker rate and trade fair rate cannot be cancelled or changed without charge. These rates, upon binding booking, incur a cancellation fee of 100%. No-shows incur a cancellation fee of 100% as well. The amount will be charged to the credit card without separate notice. Invoicing will take place at a later time.
Cancellation policy for arrangements/promotional rates:
Arrangements are offered at reduced promotional rates. Upon receipt of a binding booking (online booking, written booking reconfirmation, or a binding booking via phone, in each case with a credit card put on file and accompanying authorization), arrangements cannot be cancelled or changed without charge. These promotional rates, upon binding booking, incur a cancellation fee of 100%. No-shows incur a cancellation fee of 100% as well. The amount will be charged to the credit card without separate notice. Invoicing will take place at a later time.
Cancellation fees - No Shows
If the guest does not arrive without prior written notification, or if a room is canceled after 6pm on the day of arrival the full room price is charged. You will receive a note whether this fee or parts of it might be used to reduce the price of a future booking.

If the guest does not arrive, or if the stay ends early for personal reasons, illness, acts of nature etc. the guest is still obliged to pay the agreed price.
VII. The guest is required to pay for the room and any additional services requested. This includes services of third parties requested by the guest.
VIII. The prices may be modified by the hotel if the guest changes the number of rooms or inhabitants or the length of the stay (requires the expressed permission of the hotel).
IX. All invoices need to be paid within 5 days after receiving. The hotel may demand immediate payment of accrued costs at any time.

BGB on late payments. The current interest according to law is 5

The booking does not guarantee the permanent availability of heating, hot water and electricity (for example unforeseeable urgent repairs, power failures, force majeure etc.)
The guest is responsible for damages caused by water, heating or electricity that were caused by improper handling or misuse. All repairs will be performed through specialist companies at the guests expense.
The guest is not entitled to damages if the hotel is forced to cancel the reservation for reason of force majeure.
The hotel reserves the right to offer the guest alternative accommodation if the one booked initially is not available for unexpected reasons. The guest will be notified of such a change upon arrival. Additional costs for a room upgrade are on the expense of the hotel. Such a change does not entitle the guest for a price reduction.

Any defects found after arrival must be brought to th attention of the reception at once. We will try to find a remedy for the problem. If a defect is reported at the time of departure or later, we are no longer in a position to do something about it. A liability is excluded in this case.
If the room is dirty beyond any normal standards, or in cases of vandalism, the hotel may charge extra fees for cleaning and repairs.
The guest and the contract partner (the recipient of the invoice) are responsible for damages to/theft of hotel property in the room. A minimum fee of 60 Euro will be charged to take care of cleaning and repairs.
The use of candles or spreading vividly colored blossoms is not allowed.

Compensation for damages on hotel or third party property will be claimed. The contract partner or the person who caused it are required to pay an extra cleaning charge of 60 Euro minimum for smoking in the rooms. Alternatively the hotel may consider the room to be temporarily unsuitable for subsequent guests. In that case the contract partner or the causer will be charged the room price for at least one extra night. These fees may also be claimed after departure.
Since our hotel is advertised as suitable for allergy sufferers, we kindly ask our smoking guests to pay special attention to this. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

An extra fee of at least 50% of the room price is mandatory. If necessary an extra cleaning fee may be charged in addition to this. Both fees may also be claimed after departure.
XI. Additional Options / Extras (packages available, already included in some rates)

parents. For babies under 7 months there is a limited supply of
baby beds that can be requested free of charge. For children
between 2 and 4 years of age we offer special beds for small
children, as well a limited supply, free of charge. For children
older than 5 years we offer extra beds (comfortable sofa beds) at
25 Euro per night (not available for all room types/rates).
Please tell us as early as possible if you need an extra bed for your child, as the supply is limited and may not always be available.
Telephone is 30 cent per unit.
Newspapers: During the week we normally offer the current issues of FAZ, Die Welt and Süddeutsche Zeitung and on Sundays Die Welt am Sonntag free of charge in the lobby.
Parking / underground parking garage is 18 Euro per night (3pm on the day of arrival until noon on the day of departure).
Buffet breakfast 23 Euro/person. Children between 6 and 14 years of age 15 Euro/person. Children under the age of six are free of charge.
Spa La Casa 10 Euro/person and night (opening hours 7am - 9.30 pm), if not already included with your rate.
Wireless LAN/Wifi free of charge
The hotel offers several meeting and conference rooms of various sizes that can be booked (if available).

All our prices are exclusive of commission fees.

Several credit cards upon request. Our rates are per room and per
night. Prices include sales tax and service charge. Regretfully we
cannot accept checks.
With the release of a new price list all old price lists loose their validity. This also applies for an increase of the value added tax. A tax increase also applies to existing reservations and will be added to the booked price.
Bills and deposits can also be paid by money transfer to our bank account.

A binding reservation for group bookings of more than 3 rooms requires a down payment depending on the total number of rooms. This can also be done by credit card. With the booking confirmation the card holder agrees that his card is debited the due amount.

If we provide a parking space in the underground garage or another parking facility (independent if for a fee or not), it does not constitute a safekeeping agreement. The hotel is not liable for theft, loss or damage of any kind to the car or it's content. This also applies to agents and parking assistance provided by the hotel.
1. The accommodation is available at 3 pm on the day of arrival day until noon on the day of departure.

to be notified upon arrival (or better upon booking) of the late
checkout and it needs to be entered in the booking agreement.
Otherwise we can not guarantee the availability of the late checkout

If the room is not vacated as agreed to in 1. or 2. the hotel may charge 60% of the full room price if the room used until 6pm and 100% if it is still in use after 6pm. This fee does not constitute any contractual obligations by the hotel.
The guest retains the right to prove that the hotel has no or at least a substantially lower claim for compensation.
Day-rooms from noon until 6 pm cost 75% of the normal room price. If the room is still in use after 6 pm, 100% of the room price is charged.

the room is used beyond the time agreed to in the booking contract,
late fees apply. If the room is used until 6pm 100% of the room
price is charged. After 6pm the full price for the following night

If a provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement; or the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this Agreement
XIV. German law applies. The use of the UN convention on contracts for the international sale of goods or conflict of laws is ruled out.
The Hotel La Casa GmbH assumes no liability for the timeliness, accuracy, completeness or quality of the information and materials, unless the mistake occurred intentionally or through gross negligence. This refers to any material and immaterial damages caused by the use of the Hotel La Casa GmbH website, the information and materials. All offers are non-binding.
The Hotel La Casa has no influence on the design and the content of other pages, which are linked to from its website directly or indirectly. Therefore, the Hotel La Casa GmbH distances itself from such materials and disclaims any liability. This does not apply if the Hotel La Casa GmbH had knowledge of illegal contents of other websites and if it is technically possible and reasonable to reduce the use of illegal content.
The layout of the web sites, diagrams, pictures and logos, and the collection of individual contributions are protected by copyright. Any reproduction or use of objects such as diagrams, pictures or texts in other electronic or printed publications, without the prior consent of the Hotel La Casa GmbH is not allowed.
This disclaimer is part of the internet publication from which this page was referred. If sections or individual formulations of this text conflict with the relevant laws, the remaining terms are unaffected.
